My Thoughts on a Peer's Role
I wish to congratulate the Waiter on his very professional manner in which he dealt with the situation. I think that he could have been a little more careful however the issue was not unforgivable. He took full responsibility for the bug’s presence and took immediate action in removing and replacing the beans at no cost to the elderly couple. His dramatic skills were quite impressive and his attitude toward his role was admirable.
My Reflections on Readers Theatre
Being a part of this story was a thrilling experience which I thoroughly enjoyed. I played the part of the Old Lady who became quite alarmed and frantic as she found a bug in her food. I have seen quite a number of films with elderly people so I fused my ideas with those of the films. Being able to dramatize this role was very amusing and I was allowed to show my talent as I became one with the character, the Old Lady. I strongly believe that there is an important lesson to be learnt from this story. One should always be aware of your surroundings. You should never take for granted even the simplest things in life.
