My Thoughts on a Peer's Role
I wish to congratulate the Waiter on his very professional manner in which he dealt with the situation. I think that he could have been a little more careful however the issue was not unforgivable. He took full responsibility for the bug’s presence and took immediate action in removing and replacing the beans at no cost to the elderly couple. His dramatic skills were quite impressive and his attitude toward his role was admirable.

I agree with you in that the Waiter should have been more careful. This just goes to show that we always need to check things for ourselves. The waiter’s professional behaviour was definitely admirable. I have seen situations where similar things have happened and the employees were not as willing to make the situation right. So yeah…hat’s off to the waiter.
